History

"History of Greer Insurance"

Jeff Greer founded Greer Insurance in 1990, settling into a two-room office just down the street from our current location.  He began by offering life, health and disability coverages to the residents of Meade County and surrounding areas.  In 1995 the agency took a giant leap forward by hiring its first full-time employee and by offering property and casualty coverages in addition to the other lines.  Today, the agency employs several more people and our office is a bit more spacious than it was in our humble beginnings.

Over the past 14 years, Greer Insurance has earned the trust and confidence of over 1,200 residents and businesses in Meade, Breckenridge and Hardin counties as well as several other areas of Kentucky.  Although the size of our agency has grown over the years, the commitments to our customers and community have stayed the same.
